New Hall porcelain, Bute-shape teacup and saucer with ring handle, painted with blue wavy bands underlying scattered scattered gilt leaf sprigs. In the centre of the saucer is a gilt sunburst, which also appears in the bottom of the cup. Neither piece is marked but the pattern has been identified as New Hall's pattern 835.  (c.1805-06)

Measurements:  Cup height 6.0 cms, diameter 8.3 cms and length (inc. handle) 10.5 cms;  saucer diameter 14.1 cms.

Condition:  Good. No chips, cracks or other damage and no restoration. Gilding is generally good but there is some wear in the centre of the saucer.
